		<description>Hi - I&#039;ve lurked for awhile but never commented.  I just wanted to let you know how much I&#039;m enjoying your &quot;Texas trip&quot; series.  I&#039;ve made perhaps half a dozen trips to south Texas over the past 20+ years, so your posts have brought back many good memories.  My specialty is beetles, so I don&#039;t know the birds too well, but in 2004 a friend of mine - and an expert birder - and I spent 2 weeks traveling from Boca Chica along the Rio Grande all the way to Big Bend and then up to the Davis Mountains.  It was a fantastic trip and a pleasure for me to have my own personal bird expert point out all the fantastic birds that we saw.  I made my own &#039;trip list&#039; and sent it to some other birder friends I have - they were quite jealous to say the least!

Anyway, sorry for rambling.  I look forward to the next post.
