You've really whetted my appetite to return to south Texas - I've made trips in 84, 85, 94, 95, 97, 01, 03, 04. My travel partner and I wrote a series of articles for the 04 trip - "Bugs and Birds, a Nexus in Texas". I focused on the bugs and my partner included all the birds.
