A duck on ice instead of a duck in water! That’s so funny to someone who lives in the tropics! Very nice photo.
Nice shot of the American Black, Jason. I have to agree with Mick — it’s kind of funny to see them in snow and ice. I thought that was why so many of the American ducks came down here to Texas for the winter, to get away from all that cold stuff!
Common site in New England, Mallards and Black Ducks on ice.
