    …I’ve never been able to photograph one of these guys. They are always hiding behind branches, twigs and leaves. You have such nice detail!

    One of my favorite cavity nesting birds is the Ash-throated Flycatcher we have out here in the West. Your Great Crested Flycatcher is very similar. A nice photo of him looking right at you.

    It sure sounds like you had a super birding and bugging day! I love the photos of the dragonflies too. 61 species of avian fun sounds like an excellent day to me!
